Prim C orchestra string for cello

Description

Prim has been making cello strings for more than 60 years. They’re made from flattened chromium steel wire that’s wound around a solid steel core.

Violinmaker’s opinion:

“I like to use the Prim orchestra G & C strings together with the Jargar medium D & A on better student cellos as a good set which gives you the warmth but still responsiveness on the A & D and a powerful and yet beautiful  gruntiness on the G and C”
