What is the soundchart?
The Thomastik-Infeld sound chart positions our products according to their sound characteristics and taking into account how each set has shown on about 80% of tested instruments. Of course, in some cases, instruments can react differently and individual strings on certain instruments can lead to different results than those shown in the chart. However, the Thomastik-Infeld sound chart can be an initial aid in your search for the ideal set. It differentiates between warm and brilliant sound and focused and broad sound. In addition, Thomastik-Infeld is the first string company to provide a Stringfinder, which is continually updated to include new products.
