The Fidelio 2 Violin

is a very beautiful handmade violin and right for you if you want to play a better instrument right from the beginning or as the next step up. For the professional player they are a very good teaching or gigging instrument where you don’t want to bring your old expensive violin

Its timbers are higher grade Spruce for the top plate and higher grade Northern Hemisphere Maple for the back plate, sides and scroll. The fingerboard is made of ebony and it has the German Wittner finetune tailpiece by default for ease of tuning. The famous Ilja Grawert setup makes this violin very easy to play and sound amazing.

The Pirastro string sets are individually selected to ensure best sound quality of each individual violin. Mostly it will be set-up with Pirastro ‘Violino’ , D’Addario Helicore or Dominant strings.

The Fidelio2 violin comes in 4/4 size in a chestnut brown or a lighter amber colour.

Upgrade options are

Evah pirazzi gold strings, more powerful brighter tone with a beautiful old instrument sound
Obligato strings, more powerful but still warm tone
